As a pioneer of the first, largest, and leading steel pipe factory in Indonesia, PT Bakrie Pipe Industries was founded by the late Achmad Bakrie under the name "Talang Tirta". Then in 1981, the subsidiary of PT Bakrie & Brothers changed its name to PT Bakrie Pipe Industries (BPI). BPI produces high-quality steel pipes for various sectors and applications such as construction and infrastructure, water lines, oil and gas, water pipe, and many more.
BPI has a production capacity of up to 310,000 MT per year by utilizing High-Frequency Electric Resistance Welding (HF-ERW). |
